I think I’ll sit on the bathroom counter and rinse a day’s work off of my feet, while enjoying a lovely glass of white wine—a taste I have yet to acquire, but my mom looks so pretty when she drinks it, so I try.

So, I’m off for a quick bite then jetting downtown to meet the Executive Director of the Kansas City Ballet. We’re meeting at the construction site for the new KCB headquarters, a beautifully renovated power house from 1914. I’m pretty excited to write this story—ballet and old buildings, two of my favorite things!

road trippin'
Just 5 days ago I was staring at the Sydney Opera House through my camera lens, and tonight I’m sitting in my mother’s yellow reading chair in Kansas City, MO. It was quite a quick turn-around, but thanks to Miss Maggie I finally made it to the next chapter in my summer plans.
